This device is named after the method of moving patients backwards into chairs to more comfortable sitting positions. Patients are tilted sideways and move one buttock at a time. Multiple handles allow for a variable hand positioning.

FootStool

FootStool

The FootStool is mainly used as support for the feet during transfers. It is also a very practical device to use to enable a better sitting position on the toilet. During a sitting transfer from a wheelchair, the FootStool is often used in combination with a turn table. An indentation in the front edge of the FootStool enables the carers to stand as close a possible. A slight indentation at the rear end allows it to be placed close to the toilet or other obstacles.

The AutoSlide is a product that makes it easier for the elderly and disabled to sit comfortably in a car seat. If necessary the carer can use the hand grips to assist with the positioning. The AutoSlide has a simple and secure strap system fixing the product to the car seat preventing the user sliding forward.

TurnSheet

TurnSheet

The TurnSheet can be used for turning an positioning a patient who requires extra care or who is sensitive to pain. The mattress cover has a centre panel of low friction fabric (ULF) with high friction panels at the sides. The high friction panels prevent the patient from sliding off the side of the bed. The TurnSheet is placed on top allows full positioning of the patient.

TopSheet

The TopSheet is used for incontinent bed ridden patients who must be turned often. Made of super-absorbent material, TopSheet is to be placed on top of the TurnSheet. The surface always feels dry which helps prevent pressure sores. The underside is PU-coated to prevent moisture from spreading further down the sheet and mattress. It can be used in conjunction with ceiling and mobile lifters.

For independent or assisted use. Left in the bed permanently, no two different draw sheet models are available for the WendyLett slide sheet : WendyLett 2-way and WendyLett 4-way. In combination with the WendyLett slide sheet, these simplify the care giver’s work, regardless of the patient’s particular transfer needs. The WendyLett 2-way draw sheet has a pattern of narrow grey stripes on a white background, It is placed on top of the WendyLett slide sheet, The combination makes it easier to turn the patient laterally in the direction of the stripes.

The WendyLett 4-way draw sheet has a grey-checked pattern on a white background. It is placed on top of the WendyLett slide sheet. This combination enable transfer and repositioning in a lateral direction as well as upwards and downwards in bed.
